About Rishika Singh
LCSW | she/they
I aim to help you tune into how you're truly feeling, while centering radical self-compassion. Healing and liberation come in many different forms and we will work collaboratively to understand your individual path. Ours will be an open space, free of judgment, to explore thoughts and feelings you may not otherwise have a place to address. One of the first steps toward healing is being seen and heard authentically and in our work together we will begin there.
Many of the things we struggle with most can also be our greatest assets. The discipline that helps someone work toward their goals may also show up as rigidity, just as the sensitivity we’ve learned to feel ashamed of can be a superpower in empathy and self-awareness - think of these as two sides of the same coin. Therapy can be a space to understand how to amplify our strengths while also identifying long-standing patterns of thought and behavior that are no longer serving us.
If you are seeking extra support through difficulties you are facing, have the desire to break out of patterns that you have outgrown, or looking for a collaborator in working towards growth, I look forward to being a part of your journey. I will both support and challenge you along the way.
